Pi Network: Global migration to Protocol v2
The Pi Network team announced a large-scale network update and transition to Protocol v2. The main emphasis is on strengthening security and preparing for the launch of smart contracts.
A key change was the mandatory two-factor authentication (2FA) and repeat KYC verification for users making a second token migration. A deadline has also been announced – April 27, by which all network nodes must upgrade to Protocol 22.
This critical update is intended to ensure the stability of the mainnet and pave the way for a full ecosystem of decentralized applications on the Pi network.
