Pavel Durov announced the launch of the decentralized Cocoon network based on TON and AI

Telegram founder Pavel Durov announced the launch of Cocoon, a new decentralized Confidential Compute Open Network project that combines artificial intelligence and TON blockchain technologies for private computing. Cocoon will be a unique platform where AI application developers can safely run inference on complex models, and GPU owners can provide their computing power for a fee in TON.

Telegram will become the first and key client of Cocoon, and also plans large-scale promotion of the network through the global messenger ecosystem. The project is designed both for application developers, who just need to indicate the architecture of the models used (for example, DeepSeek, Qwen), the expected number of requests and the size of the input/output, and for GPU owners – they just need to indicate the ready number of video cards, type (for example, H200), characteristics and expected operating time.A special feature of Cocoon will be their almost instant launch – the network is ready to accept applications from the first participants in November. This will allow small and large developers to create truly anonymous AI services without the risk of data leakage, and users will receive an appropriate level of privacy and control.

Cocoon’s prospects for the cryptocurrency market

Integrating Cocoon into the Telegram ecosystem will give the TON ecosystem access to a huge user base and stimulate growing interest in the token. The platform is expected to set a new standard for computing privacy in Web3 and increase the value of decentralized AI services. At the same time, there will be additional motivation for GPU owners – they will be able to monetize resources in TON.

Briefly on the topic

  • Cocoon is launched on TON and becomes the first infrastructure for private AI computing
  • Telegram will act as the main ambassador and promoter of the platform
  • Developers and GPU masters can apply for participation now
  • The platform is ready for launch, new standards of privacy and scalability of decentralized services are expected
